  It's Wal-Mart on Kodiak. Don't expect the same conveniences as lower 48 states like an extensive food section, but you will be surprised by a lot of the things you would think you'd not have, like their rather large tv and electronics section. Plus clothing seems to go on clearance a lot so if you shop at Wal-Mart for clothes that's probably a plus. Subway restaurant within the store is sub-par with the rest of subways globally service and food wise. Lines are typically exaggerated like most Wal-Mart's, waiting in long lines with several not open registers beside yourself. My suggestion when shopping here is to find the item you want on Wal-Mart. Com and order it for pick up; it will often be cheaper this way. If you smoke, cigarettes are cheaper here then other places. They close rather early (maybe 10).

  For a town like this I do think it should become a super mart and then it would have more of a slection and it would have more customers then safeway getting it more money but a town like this its okay but there isnt much of a selection especially when it comes to paints they have one type, acrylic, and then only sell two brands Apple Barrel and Folk art but this is just my opinion
